If you like what you’re doing in your journalism classroom there are a lot of great options for you to explore for college and life after high school. While working for a newspaper or magazine is an option, there are many others where you can utilize your skills from working in Public Relations or Graphic Design to Social Media and Sports Information. This Media Now course will get you out of the classroom and take you on daily field trips to explore some of the wide-ranging possibilities for you after high school. You’ll even get a bunch of ideas from professionals to take back to your own journalism program to help it level up. The final project for this career exploration course is a presentation showcasing what areas of communications most interested them and potential paths in achieving those career goals.
