Jonathan Hall is the publications teacher at Liberty High School in Lake Saint Louis, Mo. He has been teaching high school student publications classes for the past 19 years at both Liberty and McCluer North. At Liberty, he advises all of the media classes including: yearbook, journalism, magazine, online news and broadcast media. Liberty’s yearbook has been selected as Pacemaker finalists multiple years. He is the current president of the Missouri Interscholastic Journalism Association and co-coordinator of JournalismSTL, a local organization of St. Louis area advisers. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a journalism degree in 2000. Prior to teaching, he was a sports reporter for the Alton Telegraph and Edwardsville Intelligencer. In his free time, he loves to travel to new adventurous places with his family: his wife Jackie and daughters Samantha and Gwyn.
