We’re excited to announce a new opportunity to strengthen your student media programs for the 2025-2026 school year. The Media Now Editor Training program is now open for registration!
What is the Media Now Editor Training program?
This program is designed to provide direct, ongoing support from veteran advisers, including Aaron Manfull and Sarah Nichols. They’ll be your support all year, helping you lead your newsroom to success.
Here’s what you get:
30 Tips, A Full Year of Training: Look forward to hands-on tips designed to help your student leaders build a strong, collaborative leadership team. Participants will get access to three batches of 10 tips, with the first batch delivered on August 25.
- Round One – School Year Kick Off: August 25–September 5, 2025
- Round Two – Settled into the School Year: October 6–17, 2025
- Round Three – Mid-Year Push: January 12–23, 2026
New for 2025-2026:
- Editor Leadership Playbook: The new asynchronous Editor Leadership Playbook gives advisers a full year’s worth of detailed training and 30 tips. This resource will help you teach your student leaders to master everything from organization and communication to building a strong team.
For $50, individual editors can take advantage of this opportunity, while advisers can register an entire newsroom for $150, gaining access to the complete toolkit starting on Monday, August 25.
